CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) RESPONSE UPDATE

As Covid-19 continues, we are playing our part by encouraging our hosts to provide a safe sanctuary for all guests during this difficult time. We are proud to help combat this crisis by promoting the guidelines set out by our local government/health authorities and reminding our hosts to follow the necessary protocols.

The following protocols are to be observed: 

  1. All properties should be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before a guest arrives
  2. Hosts are being encouraged to inform guests about their enhanced cleaning routine

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Guests will be given a 100% refund under the following circumstances as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic:

  1. There is a shutdown of airports within your destination or home country, which prevents you from arriving at your rental property.
  2. The country has been declared a state of emergency and placed under lockdown which prevents you from checking into your rental property.
  3. You have contracted the Coronavirus and you are unable to travel to meet your check in date. Please note: A letter certified by a doctor confirming that you have the virus will be required in order to be eligible for a refund.


If your reason does not fall in any of the categories listed then the Host's Cancellation Policy applies. We recommend that you contact your Host to discuss your options with regards to cancelling your booking in this situation.


CHANGING YOUR TRIP DATES

If you wish to change your trip dates, you can do so on the trip details page by clicking the Alter Trip button.

We encourage you to change your dates using our secure platform, so we can be able to protect your booking under our Payment protection policy.


We are continuing to review our policies in line with the World Health Organisation and government guidelines. As this global crisis continues, the health and safety of our customers is our highest priority so please check this page regularly for the latest update on our policies.
