The following terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations that govern the use of VastTrips website.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use VastTrips's website if you do not accept all the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The purpose of this website is to connect travelers with rental property owners/managers, tour operators, taxi service companies and event organizers. The VastTrips website facilitates bookings for services offered by the following listing managers: vacation rentals, tours, airport transfers and events. This also includes and is not limited to, determining the availability as well as making genuine personal booking inquiries and payments. The use of this website for any other purpose than what is outlined is strictly prohibited.
This website is offered to you upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions (collectively, the "Agreement"). When you access any aspect of this website you are bounded by the Agreement. It is recommended that you read all the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of the terms, then you should not use this website. We reserve all right to modify these conditions without prior notice for any reason at any time. The most recent Terms and Agreement will prevail in resolving any conflicts. It is advised that you return to this page periodically to see the updates. Updated terms are also displayed once logged in.
SUMMARY OF AGREEMENT
1) VastTrips assist travelers/guests in finding vacation rentals, tours, airport transfer services and events. It is to be noted that we are not a travel agency, nor do we own any of the listings. The listings belong solely to the owners/managers - worldwide. All aspects of the transaction will be handled by the Listing Managers except for payments, alterations and cancellations.
2) As a Listing Manager/Host, by accepting -these terms and conditions, you are obligated to provide accurate information about your listings, as well as granting VastTrips the right to publish and use any information relating to the listing/s provided.
The following terminology applies to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and not limited to all Agreements.
“Client”, “Customer”, “You”, “Your”, “Guest” and “Traveler” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions.
“Listing Manager” and “Host” refers to you, the property owner, service operator for tours and airport transfers, marketer and event organizer listing on this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions.
“The Company”, “The Website” “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company namely VastTrips.
“Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and the Company, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Jamaica. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
WEBSITE IS A VENUE AND WE ARE NOT A PARTY TO ANY TRANSACTIONS
We do not manage or own any of the listed services and properties. This website is solely for the purpose of booking vacation rentals, tour services, airport transfers and events provided by the Listing Managers. All users should carefully read the information listed by the Listing Managers before making a reservation.
We do not take responsibility for the communications between the Guest and the Host. All aspects of the listing will be handled by the Host. This means that the accuracy of the listing, price as well as the quality is determined by the Host.
Several Listings may require approval from VastTrips before it can be viewed by potential customers. These listings include Airport Transfers, Activities and Events.
Once approval is given, the Listing Manager will have access to adjust the listing. This review process ensures that all required documentations are submitted.
Please note that we assume no liability for legal compliance pertaining to listings on VastTrips. We are legally obligated to provide information about your listing in cases of governmental investigations.
If you choose to use the VastTrips Website or Collective Content, you do so voluntarily and at your sole risk. The VastTrips Website and Collective Content is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
You agree that some Activities, Events or other Host Services (Airport Transfers) may carry inherent risk, and by participating in such services, you choose to assume those risks voluntarily.
You assume full responsibility for the choices you make before, during and after your decision to book a listing. If you are bringing a minor as an additional guest, you are solely responsible for the supervision of that minor throughout the duration of the trip/service and to the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless VastTrips from all liabilities and claims that arise in any way from any injury, death, loss or harm that occurs to that minor during your trip/stay.
You shall indemnify and hold the Company (and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents or any other partners and employees) harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, cost and expenses (including and not limited to attorney’s fees) incurred by VastTrips as a result of: (i) any claim, (ii) judgment, or (iii) resolution against VastTrips related to or arising from (a) any photographs, illustrations, audio or video clips, text, data or any other information, content display or material (whether, graphic, sound, or otherwise improperly used while arising from a stay at an Accommodation, participation in an Activity, Event or any other Services) provided on VastTrips website or a claim that the Company’s use of the Customer Content breaches the intellectual property rights of a third party.
You acknowledge and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the entire risk arising out of your access to and use of the VastTrips Platform and Collective Content, your publishing or booking of any Listing via the VastTrips Platform, your stay at any Accommodation, participation in any Activity or Event or use of any other Host Service or any other interaction you have with other Members whether in person or online remains with you.
Neither VastTrips nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the VastTrips Website or Collective Content will be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data,of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage, system failure or the cost of substitute products or services, for any damages for personal or bodily injury or emotional distress arising out of or in connection with (i) these Terms, (ii) from the use of or inability to use the VastTrips Platform or Collective Content, (iii) from any communications, interactions or meetings with other Members or other persons with whom you communicate, interact or meet with as a result of your use of the VastTrips Platform, or (iv) from your publishing or booking of a Listing, including the provision or use of a Listing’s Host Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or any other legal theory, and whether or not VastTrips has been informed of the possibility of such damage, even if a limited remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
You acknowledge and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, you accept the risk for ANY UNPLANNED OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM COURSE OF ACCESSING, USE OF VASTTRIPS PLATFORM AND COLLECTIVE CONTENT, PUBLISHING OR BOOKING OF ANY OR ALL LISTING(S) ON VASTTRIPS PLATFORM, DEALING OR COURSE OF INTERACTION ARISING FROM YOUR STAY AT ANY ACCOMMODATION, PARTICIPATION IN ANY ACTIVITY, EVENT, HOST SERVICES, LOST PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE OR ALLEGED TO BE BASED ON BREACH OF WARRANTY, CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY, ARISING UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY PERFORMANCE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF SUCH PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY PROVIDED HEREIN. VASTTRIPS MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH REGARD TO ANY THIRD PARTY CONTENT OR ANY SOFTWARE OBTAINED FROM THIRD PARTIES.
USE OF THE WEBSITE
You are responsible for obtaining access to the Website, and that access may involve third-party fees (such as Internet service provider or airtime charges). In addition, you must provide and are responsible for all equipment necessary to access the Website. You may not bypass any measures that have been implemented to prevent or restrict access to this Website. Any unauthorized access to the Website by you (including any such access or use that involves in any way an account you may establish on the Website or any device you may use to access the Website) shall terminate the permission or license granted to you by VastTrips. VastTrips reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration for this Website, remove any person from the Website and prohibit any person from using the Website for any reason whatsoever, and to limit or terminate your access to or use of the Website at any time without notice. VastTrips neither warrants nor represents that your use of the Content available on this Website will not infringe rights of third parties not affiliated with VastTrips. Termination of your access or use will not waive or affect any other right or relief to which VastTrips may be entitled, at law or in equity.
VastTrips may, in its sole discretion, choose to not process or to cancel your order in certain circumstances. This may occur, for example, when the product or service you wish to purchase is out of stock or has been mispriced, we suspect the request is fraudulent, or in other circumstances VastTrips deems appropriate in its sole discretion. VastTrips also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take steps to verify your identity to process your order. VastTrips will either not charge you or refund the charges for orders that we do not process or cancel.
Unless otherwise stated, VastTrips and/or it’s licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on VastTrips. All intellectual property rights are reserved. Nothing contained on this Website should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on this Website without the written permission of VastTrips or such third party that may own the Trademarks displayed on this Website. Your misuse of the Trademarks displayed on this Website, or any other Content on this Website, except as provided herein, is strictly prohibited.
The license to use the Website only extends to the uses expressly described herein. The content and information on this Website (including, but not limited to, price and availability of vacation rental properties and travel services), as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, is proprietary to us or our suppliers and providers. You agree not to otherwise modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell or re-sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from or through this Website. Additionally, you agree not to:
(i) Copy, modify, reproduce, transfer, sell or resell any information products or services from this website;
(ii) Use this website to conduct fraudulent activities such as fake reservations.
(iii) Manage content of this website using any online robots or software unless given written permission.
(vii) Posting false, inaccurate or misleading feedback, ratings and reviews that may degrade the quality of the feedbacks;
(ix) post or transmit any false, inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, inflammatory, pornographic or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law; or for any other purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by this Agreement.
VastTrips provide promotional emails. If you do not want to receive these types of emails, please click the opt out option. We also protect your account information. Only general information about account holders will be displayed by our website.
VastTrips has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at VastTrips' sole discretion, subscribers or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. VastTrips may also at its sole discretion limit access to the Website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement. If you believe that an account holder or subscriber is a repeat infringer, please provide information sufficient for us to verify that the account holder or subscriber is a repeat infringer when filing your notice.

VastTrips reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which this Web site is offered.
REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE
You will be required to set a password in connection with your use of this Website. You will be responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your password and account and will be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your password and account. If you have any reason to believe or become aware of any loss, theft or unauthorized use of your login credentials, you are required to notify VastTrips immediately. VastTrips may assume that any communications we receive from your email or other address, or communications that are associated with your login credentials or your account on this Website, have been made by you unless we are notified otherwise.
When you use the Website or send emails to VastTrips, you are communicating with VastTrips electronically. You consent to receive electronically any communications related to your use of this Website. VastTrips will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on this Website. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that are provided to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. All notices from VastTrips intended for receipt shall be deemed delivered and effective when sent to the email address you provide on the Website.
GUEST AND HOST REVIEWS
Only customers who have stayed at a Property or done a Tour, Event or Airport Transfer will be allowed to leave a comment, review or rate on their trip(s).
All guest reviews (including submitted rating during your stay) will be uploaded onto the relevant Host’s page. This will be uploaded for the sole purpose of informing (future) customers of your opinion of the service (level) and quality of the Host and (b) (wholly or partly) used and placed by VastTrips at its sole discretion (e.g. for marketing, promotion, or improvement of our service) on our Platform or such social media platforms, newsletters, special promotions, apps, or other channels owned, hosted, used, or controlled by VastTrips and our business partners. In reference to relevance, reviews can only be submitted within a certain time frame which is twenty-eight (28) days following a stay.
The default ranking of the reviews is by date of submission qualified to a few additional criteria (such as reviews with comments). We reserve all rights to adjust, refuse, or remove reviews at our sole discretion if it violates our review policy. VastTrips does not compensate or otherwise reward a customer for completing a review, this is solely voluntary. The guest review form should be regarded as a survey and does not include any (further commercial) offers, invitations, or incentives whatsoever. VastTrips undertakes to use its best efforts to monitor and remove reviews that include obscenities or the mention of an individual’s name or reference to stolen goods.

VastTrips is entitled to terminate its relationship for whatever reason (including in the event of breach of contract or (filing for) bankruptcy) with due compliance of the relevant notice period as agreed between all parties.
PRICES, CROSSED-OUT RATES
Prices offered by all Hosts (Property, Events, Activity and Transport) on VastTrips Platform are vastly competitive. All prices vary based on Hosts and are displayed (including sales tax and all other taxes) on our Platform, these prices are subjected to change based on taxation laws and regulations.
All fees otherwise indicated differently, will be displayed on our Platform and will also be indicated in your email/ticket confirmation. It is VastTrips’ aim to ensure that all special or crossed-out rates (Crossed-out rates indicate a discount of some sort for a particular day or for selected dates) are displayed on our Platform, it is very important to note, that these rates may or may not carry different restrictions and conditions (eg: no cancelations or no refunds etc). VastTrips recommend that before booking is done on our Platform, you check the relevant product, services, reservations and conditions thoroughly prior to making any bookings on our site.
Hosts are charged Service Fees and payout fees. Service Fees are charged per booking as a percentage and usually ranges from 0 - 2.5%. Payout fees are charged per payout and range from $4 - 8 USD per payout.
Guests are charged Booking Fees for each listing that they book on the VastTrips platform. These fees range from 6 - 9.9%.
Listing prices and concessionary rates are specified by the Listing Manager. The Listing Manager reserves the right to change prices and rates displayed on the Website. The booking price will be the price or rate of the ticket displayed at the time of checkout. All counter offers should be directed to the Listing Manager using the website’s messaging tool. The Listing Manager will determine whether to accept or decline a counteroffer at their sole discretion.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
A valid credit card is required in order to process bookings on our website. Some bookings can be processed without payment. These are considered as Booking Requests and require approval from the Host. Your credit card is charged once the host accepts the reservation.
Alter Trips can be submitted with and without payment for Property Listings and Airport Transfer Listings. Alter Trip requests made by the guest that quality for instant booking will process your credit card immediately. The requests that do not qualify will be sent as an alteration request for the host to approve.
GOVERNMENT ID VERIFICATION
A valid government ID is required for some listings on our website. This is an option configured by the host for each listing. All hosts are required to upload a government ID for verification.
Customers are given 1 month to upload new Government Issued IDs once their previously uploaded ID has expired. A notification will be sent to indicate that your ID is about to expire or has expired. One month after the expiration date, the customers and hosts will no longer be able to process a booking on the website. However, you will be given access to basic features such as send messages and view reservations.
Verified listings are identified by a green badge on the website. The following information is required in order for a listing to be verified:
A listing submitted for verification will be confirmed within 14 business days. Listings verification requests can be submitted on the listings page as long as the listing has no outstanding requirements.
VastTrips facilitates the communication between Hosts and Guests using the messaging feature. This feature allows the user to see when persons are online and when recipients have read messages. The listing page also indicates when Hosts are online and displays how long since their most recent activity within 24 hours.
Notifications are sent to both hosts and guests. These range from inquiries to booking confirmation emails.
Booking charges are Non-Refundable. All other refunds are issued under the following cases:
A guest can cancel any booking up to 2 days prior to the booking date. The cancellation policy will dictate if the guest will be refunded.
Grace Cancellation Period
Guests will receive a refund minus booking fees/charges if they cancel any booking up to 24 hours after making the booking and the cancellation is more than 7 days before the start date of the booking. Guest cancellations will incur a charge for guest cancellations if no booking fee was applied to the booking.
Guests will receive a full refund (minus booking fee) if they cancel at least 1 week before the start of their reservation.
Guests will receive a 50% refund if they cancel at least 30 days prior to the start of their reservation. Guests will receive a 25% refund if they cancel at least 14 days prior to the start of their reservation.

Super Strict Cancellation
No refunds will be given for bookings cancelled by guests.
Property bookings cancelled by the host
Guests will receive a full refund once the property booking is cancelled by the host. This overrides any of the cancellation policies stated above. Hosts will be charged a cancellation fee which is 5% of the booking total.
Bookings violating terms of service
Guests will receive a 100% refund if the violation was found to be done by the Host. Guests will receive a refund minus booking charges if the violation is found to be done by the guest (This excludes fraudulent cases, otherwise a 100% refund will be processed back to the card used for the booking).
VastTrips allows guest users to filter their search by several criteria including the destination desired and the affordability. This reduces the time and hassle of finding the perfect listing for you. Hosts may also submit new offers based on listings that are within the guest user’s search area. The guest user may choose to accept or decline any offer made by the host.
The Guest user can create a Travel Request. A Travel Request will remain open until one of the following conditions are met:
If the guest accepts the Travel Offer, it will be automatically closed, and the guest will now be able to book the listing that was chosen.
A Host can cancel an offer if it has not been booked by a guest. The offer expiry date is set by the Host. An offer will remain open until the offer date has expired.
VastTrips reserves the right to cancel any Travel Request or Offer that falls in the following categories:
SECURITY DEPOSIT CLAIMS
In reference to damages to property, the Company’s claim policy allows for all Hosts to claim a part of or in entirety the security deposit for a listing, in the event of any damages done to the property. All Hosts will be given a three (3) day grace period after booking has ended to initiate such claim, upon the fourth day, if no such claim is brought forth, then the guest will be refunded the full security deposit. Any claim that is submitted to VastTrips, will be acted upon accordingly. The guest will be notified of such claim and will have the right to review and contest such claim.
Once a claim is being contested, the VastTrips Support team will intervene and a thorough investigation will be done based on such claim. It will take the Support team, three (3) to five (5) business days to action a claim. Once a claim is being contested, the final decision will lie with the Support Team. All final decisions will be based on actual evidence provided to the Support team.
Contested claims will be declined based on the following reasons:
Claims can be contested at any time once it is within a reasonable time frame. All claims will expire within 14 days after it has been created. If for any reason a case isn’t resolved or contested before the claim expiration date, it will be closed automatically and the Guest will be refunded the entire Security Deposit. Hosts will not be able to re-open this case once it is closed.
VastTrips takes all claims seriously and once a claim is being contested by a Guest, the Host will have three (3) days to provide a response.
Only after the Host and the Guest comes to an agreement and acceptance of the claim, then will the relevant payments be made. Payments will be made within two (2) business days.
If for any such reason, either party may have a claim dispute, please do not hesitate to contact VastTrips by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
PAYMENT PROTECTION POLICY
VastTrips Payment Protection Policy (the “Policy”) to all our Guests covers all bookings that are listed on the Company’s website with the payment protection badge. All Payment Protection expires at 12 midnight local time on the exact day the booking started, no Payment Protection will apply to any claims made after said day. Any claims that are invalid under the Payment Protection Policy will be assessed by VastTrips Resolution Unit. VastTrips reserves all right to update the Payment Protection Policy at any given time. Any updates done to said policy will be displayed as a popup once the user accesses our website. Once the said policy is revised, all guests are asked to accept the new terms and conditions in order to be eligible for any claims covered under the policy.

The “Coverage Limit” or maximum reimbursement under this Policy is the lower of:
You are not eligible for reimbursement under the Policy if you opened a case with PayPal in relation to dispute resolution or compensation for the booking, or you have requested a chargeback from your credit card company. If we have disbursed the payment to the Host before you made a claim, then you will not qualify for Payment Protection.
We will reimburse you for your losses up to the Coverage Limit, provided that you meet the claim requirements described above, and one or more of the following “Covered Circumstances” applies:
The meaning of “Material Differences or Defects” shall be determined at our sole discretion and, among other exceptions; it shall not cover cleanliness of the Property; minor differences in the location of the Property advertised and the actual location of the Property; the presence or availability of local attractions; or maintenance issues with amenities or services.
We will not provide any reimbursement for loss of funds due to circumstances that are not included in the Covered Circumstances. We will not cover losses in any of the following circumstances (which is not an exhaustive list):
Inform VastTrips of the problem no later than the first day of your rental period by telephone or email (email@example.com).
If the issue is due to fraudulent activity, you must obtain a police crime reference number/case number in relation to such issue and email it with the request.
We shall complete the reimbursement claim process in a reasonable time frame (generally within four weeks) and will keep you informed of any decisions or additional documentation required to process your claim.
At our sole discretion, we shall make all decisions regarding claim and documentation requirements and eligibility under the Policy. Our decisions shall be final and binding on you.
As COVID-19 continues, we are playing our part by encouraging our hosts to provide a safe sanctuary for all guests during this difficult time.
