How do I escalate a security deposit claim?

  • To escalate a claim as a Host, click host at the top of your page.
  • Select claims from the menu.
  • Click view details next to the claim that you want to escalate on the claims page.
  • The booking details page will come up, select escalate claim at the bottom of the page.
  • A page will pop up for you to enter your reason for escalating the claim. Click escalate claim at the bottom of the page. 
  • To escalate a claim as a Guest, Click my trips at the top of your page, select Claims from the menu.
  • The claims page will appear, find the relevant claim and click view details.
  • The claim details page will come up, click escalate claim at the bottom of the page, fill in the required information and click escalate.
